History Hill in the Media

History Hill recently appeared the The Western Advocate, Bathurst’s local paper.

“A picture of Hill End’s past”

Photograph boards were used to map  the gold rush towns past and feature famous photographs from the Holtermann Collection. The story boards will be available for viewing at the History Hill Museum just outside Hill End where pre-1900 gold rush history is preserved and displayed by Malcolm Drinkwater who authored  the books Hill End Gold and Hill End Hearsay.

Popular with tourists and school excursion groups the History Hill Museum is constantly being updated with new and interesting material from the gold rush days of Hill End.

Contact Malcolm for more information on tours and opening hours.
